Wilson man killed in motorcycle crash

A man died Tuesday in a motorcycle crash in Wilson.

At 8:02 p.m., officers with the Wilson Police Department responded to the area of 1870 Tarboro Street in reference to a vehicle accident.

A motorcycle and a car crashed collided in the roadway.

The driver of the motorcycle, Alexis Ray Ruffin, 30, of Wilson, was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the car, Jalila Tyshae Newsome, 19, of Wilson was not injured.

Police are investigating.
