Wegmans Wake Forest opening date announced with hiring event on March 18
The new Wegmans supermarket in Wake Forest is opening on Wednesday, May 19, 2021!
The 104,000 sq. ft. store will open at 9 a.m. and is located at 11051 Ligon Mill Road, Wake Forest, NC.
On March 18 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., they are hosting a virtual hiring event for the new store with approx. 130 part-time jobs available including cashiers, food production, cooks, and stocking opportunities. Select full-time customer service positions are also still available.
Interested applicants are invited to apply online prior to the event at the Wegmans website HERE. The Wake Forest hiring team will review applications and contact candidates to schedule a virtual interview.
The Wake Forest store will employ nearly 450 people total and the majority will be hired locally.
