Enjoy delicious fair food and movies while staying socially distanced and safe this weekend.

Get your NC State Fair food fix (NC State Fairgrounds, 1025 Blue Ridge Road, Raleigh) - Daily from Oct. 15 to 25, there will be 22 local fair vendors offering take-out food at the fairgrounds. Vendors will be serving from 10 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. daily. People should enter the fairgrounds at Gate 9 off of Trinity Road and park in the midway area. Social distancing and face coverings will be required.

Food Truck Flix: Edward Scissorhands (Downtown Raleigh-McLaurin Lot, 205 West Lenoir Street, Raleigh) - Enjoy a movie from your car Friday in downtown Raleigh and enjoy food trucks NC Bulkogi, Chirba Chirba and Dusty's Donuts.

New drive-in movie theater opens (The Drive-In at Carraway Village, 500 Caraway Crossing, Chapel Hill) - A new drive-in movie theater opened Wednesday and is home to the Film Fest 919 through Oct. 31.

Car-no-ween (Catering Works, 2319 Laurelbrook Street, Raleigh) - Catering Works in Raleigh is offering a Halloween and State Fair-inspired event in one. Dress up, drive-thru and pick up your deep-fried goodness cravings on Saturday between 2 and 6 p.m. Sign up for a time slot online. A portion of proceeds will benefit The Judy Zelnak Center for Hope.

The Raleigh Market (NC State Fairgrounds, 1025 Blue Ridge Road, Raleigh) - The flea market returns to the N.C. State Fairgrounds on Sunday featuring hundreds of vendors, food trucks, fair food and farm stands.
