Here are some opportunities to get outside this weekend!

Dine Out Downtown - Enjoy dinner from your favorite downtown Raleigh restaurants as you dine outdoors on closed streets and listen to live music by local musicians. This weekend's events are from 5 to 9 p.m. on Friday on Fayetteville Street and Saturday in the Warehouse District. Guests must wear masks and practice social distancing.

Mural by Bike Tours: Downtown Durham ("Major" the Bull Sculpture, 211 W. Parrish St., Durham) - On Saturday, Preservation Durham and Museum of Durham History bikers, guide riders thru downtown Durham showcasing mural art on Durham's historic buildings. The rides take place the first Saturday of each month.

Triangle Virtual Race for the Cure - The Triangle Race for the Cure is celebrating its 25th anniversary. The race is taking place virtually this year on Saturday.

Gizmo Brew Works 8th Anniversary Celebration (Gizmo Brew Works, 5907 Triangle Drive, Raleigh) - Gizmo Brew Works celebrates the 8th anniversary of its Raleigh location this weekend with two days of fun. There will be two separate sessions each day (noon to 5 p.m. and 6-11 p.m.) All guests must be 21 years or older. Tickets include a souvenir pint glass and a pint of beer.

Moore Square Market (Moore Square Park, 200 South Blount Street, Raleigh) - Pick up your local produce and treats, meet up with friends and enjoy live music at Moore Square Market in downtown Raleigh every Sunday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Candid Yams Kickback Movie Experience: Black Panther (Durham Bulls Athletic Park, 409 Blackwell St., Durham) - Enjoy a screening of "Black Panther"on Friday night at the ballpark. Tickets are $10 per person and children under 10 years old are admitted free.

Triangle Pop-Up Brunch Market (The Honeysuckle at Lakewood, 1920 Chapel Hill Road, Durham) - From noon to 4 p.m., this outdoor market will feature artists selling handmade goods like candles, jewelry, beauty products and more. Guests must wear masks at all times when moving about the premise.

Geer Street 10th Anniversary Pig Out (644 Foster St., Durham) - Help this restaurant celebrate its 10th anniversary on Saturday starting at 11 a.m. There will be barbecue, live music and more fun.

HerbFest 2021 (The Cotton Company, 306 S. White St., Wake Forest) - The Cotton Company in downtown Wake Forest will host this festival on April 30 and May 1 featuring Certified organic, non-GMO, heritage/heirloom varieties of herbs, vegetables, tomatoes, peppers and more.

Art-n-Soul Makers Market (Mystic Farm & Distillery, 1212 North Mineral Springs Road, Durham) - Head to Mystic Farm and Distillery in Durham on Saturday for this market featuring local artisans, food trucks, and bourbon tastings.

Ready for strawberries? Pick-your-own fields are open - It's that time of year when the fields are fully of juicy red berries and ready for strawberry lovers to come and fill up their buckets.

Black Restaurant Week runs through Sunday - During the week, participating restaurants will be offering prix-fixe brunch, lunch and dinner menus for dine-in or take-out.

2021 Strawberry Festival Scavenger Hunt - Johnston County is hosting a county-wide Strawberry Festival scavenger hunt from April 24 through May 1. There will be cash prizes.

Afternoon Market at ARTmosphere (Artmosphere Community Arts Center, 3919 Raleigh Rd, Clayton) - Head to the Artmosphere Community Arts Center in Clayton on Sunday afternoon for this outdoor vendor market. There will also be a craft tent and food vendor.
