WRAL WeatherCenter Forecast

Saturday should dawn sunny, WRAL Meteorologist Mike Maze predicted, but clouds will move in during the afternoon.

A band of rain could bring sprinkles in the afternoon, with the greater chance for showers coming after sunset.  There is a slight risk that any of the storms could become severe, but any severe weather would be south of the Triangle towards the border with South Carolina.

Sunday morning clouds will part by lunchtime.  It will be a breezy afternoon with temperatures will be much cooler, reaching only the mid-50s.
