Warrant: Man passed out in car with kid in backseat

Raleigh police arrested a 21-year-old Garner man Saturday who they say put his child in danger.

Officers found Azurist Arrioja-Larazo, of 1422 Pine View Drive, passed out in his car in a parking lot, according to an arrest warrant. His child was in the backseat.

Arrioja-Larazo was being held in the Wake County Jail. His first court appearance was set for Monday afternoon.

Jail officials said the U.S. Immigrations and Customs Enforcement agency had issued a detainer for Arrioja-Larazo, citing him for being in the country illegally. He will be deported after his criminal case is completed.
