Warrant: Man exposed himself to 10-year-old in Harris Teeter parking lot

A 22-year-old man was charged on Monday with exposing himself to a woman and a child in the parking lot of a Harris Teeter grocery store in Cary.

Gabriel Newell Garza was jailed under a $50,000 bond after he was arrested, according to the warrant. The warrant said Garza attempted to commit a "lewd and lascivious act" on a minor, who is 10 years old, and exposed himself to the victim.

The alleged incident happened at the Harris Teeter located in the Parkside Town Commons at 7145 O'Kelly Chapel Road.

Garza was charged with:

–Indecent liberties with a child

–Indecent exposure when the defendant is at least 18 years old and the victim is younger than 16

–Indecent exposure
