Wanted woman arrested while visiting inmate at NC jail

The Pamlico County Sheriff's Office says a woman with an outstanding warrant was arrested when she showed up to visit an inmate at the Pamlico County Detention Facility.

The Pamlico County Sheriff's Office says a woman with an outstanding warrant was arrested when she showed up to visit an inmate at the Pamlico County Detention Facility.

Pamlico County deputies arrested 53-year-old Kimberly Rossi on numerous drug charges.

While sitting in the lobby of the sheriff's office, deputies realized that Rossi had an outstanding warrant.

When deputies approached Rossi and told her she was under arrest, they say Rossi pulled a pill bottle out of her pocket and handed it to a juvenile that was with her.

Deputies discovered that the pill bottle contained numerous different types of controlled medication in the same bottle.
