Wake Forest is among the top 10 best cities for Halloween treats in the nation, according to Nextdoor, the private social network for neighborhoods.

The Wake County town is No. 4, ranked between Midland, Texas, at No. 3, and Parker, Colo., at No. 5, according to the results announced Tuesday.

The numbers come thanks to Nextdoor's Treat Map, which allows users to indicate whether they will be passing out candy on Halloween. Nextdoor arrived at the results by considering the ratio of the number of Nextdoor members, who indicated they were passing out candy on Nextdoor's Treat Map in 2015, to the total Nextdoor members in a city. The numbers were analyzed in U.S. cities and towns where more than 5,000 residents are signed up for Nextdoor and includes the city with the highest ratio from each state, up to 10 states.

So, obviously, this isn't a scientific ranking - and I'm sure there are some neighborhoods across the Triangle that will beg to differ. Feel free to hash that out in the comments.
