A Wake County Public Schools employee was charged with driving while impaired on Friday night.
A Wake County Public Schools employee was charged with driving while impaired on Friday night, records show.
Arrest warrants state Rene Janel Alford, 42, drove on Woodburn Road while impaired.
Alford is listed on the Wake County district's website as an assistant principal at Stough Magnet Elementary School in Raleigh.
The school's website says Alford has been an assistant principal since 2013.
