Wade Avenue reopens 12 hours after tractor-trailer crash knocks down power lines Tuesday

Wade Avenue reopened nearly 12 hours after a tractor-trailer crash knocked down power lines Tuesday morning, closing the road and causing major traffic jams.

A tractor-trailer brought down power lines and closed the road around 8:15 a.m.

Both directions of Wade Avenue reopened at Blue Ridge Road around 8 p.m.

Sky 5 flew over the crash.
