Five weeks after two people were killed in a Mount Olive home, the family of one of the victims on Monday offered a reward for information leading to an arrest.

Tyrone Beamon Jr., 27, and Shaundrea Juanette Milhouse, 21, of Knightdale, were found dead in a bathtub of Beamon's 638 Waller Road home on Nov. 5 in what Wayne County Sheriff Carey Winders called a "gruesome" and "very vindictive" crime.

Investigators said they believe the couple was killed at least a day before their bodies were found. Family members said Beamon's 3-year-old son and Milhouse's children – ages 4 and 9 months – were also found inside the home but were not harmed.

Beamon's family said they would double the $3,000 reward offered by the Wayne County Sheriff's Office in hopes of solving the case.

Authorities have released few details in the investigation, saying only that the home didn't appear to be ransacked and that drugs didn't appear to be involved.

The cause of death hasn't been released for either Beamon or Milhouse.

One day after the couple was found dead, Winders said deputies had several persons of interest and were following up on leads. The 3-year-old was able to provide investigators with some information about what he might have seen.

Anyone with information in the case is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 919-735-2255 or text at 919-222-4230.
