Vance County officials searching for 'armed and dangerous' murder suspect

Vance County officials are looking for a man who they say is connected to the death of a 35-year-old woman.

Antavian Cornelius Yancey, 34, is believed to be armed and dangerous, according to officials.

On July 16, officials found a vehicle burning in the woods in Vance County that they say is connected to the death of Charisma Robinson. Her body was found by the Burlington Police Department on July 17.

Warrants have been issued for Yancey charging him with murder and burning of personnel property.

The Vance County Sheriff's Office is urging anyone who sees Yancey to call 252-738-2200.
