Uncover your inner ice cream artist at Breyers event at Marbles

Culinary artist Clare Crespo will offer her own recipes before asking participants to design their own treats.

Breyers will host what they're calling a Yummyfun Workshop at Marbles Kids Museum on Friday, featuring culinary artist Clare Crespo.

Crespo, author of books such as "The Secret Life of Food" and "Hey There, Cupcake!," also has created a set of children's DVDs called "The YummyFun Kooking Series." She is the mom of one in Los Angeles.

Crespo will provide tips and fun activities for the family, including recipes to help "unlock [participants] inner ice cream artist," the press release said. She'll offer her own recipes before asking participants to design their own.

The workshop is free with admission to Marbles, which is $5 per person. It's from 2 p.m. to 3:30 p.m., Friday. Ice cream sampling is from 3:30 p.m. to 5 p.m.
