Two-truck crash closes stretch of I-40 near Hillsborough
Authorities in Orange County expect the road to be closed for hours while crews clear the crash and authorities investigate the cause of it.
A crash involving two trucks shut down Interstate 40 early Tuesday morning near Hillsborough.
According to authorities, the accident has closed the interstate between Mile Marker 263 and Mile Marker 261 near New Hope Church Road.
The road is expected to be closed for hours. The cause of the crash and reported injuries are currently unknown.
