Two sought in Goldsboro shooting

Police were searching Wednesday for two suspects in the shooting of a Goldsboro woman Tuesday night.

Attempted murder warrants have been issued for Anthony Dwayne Jackson, of 408 N. Leslie St., and John Oscar Mumford, of 601 Whitted Court.

Officers responding to a shooting call at about 7:30 p.m. found Barbara Ann Bandy, 42, inside a vehicle in the 300 block of North Leslie Street. Bandy had been shot, police said.

Bandy was transported to Wayne Memorial Hospital and then flown to Pitt Memorial Hospital in Greenville. Her condition was unknown Wednesday afternoon.
