Two people hospitalized after plane crash in Pender County
Both people were taken the hospital. It's unclear the extent of their injuries.
Emergency crews are on the scene of a Monday plane crash in Pender County.
WECT reports the pilot made an emergency landing in a cornfield on Shiloh Road, which his right off U.S. 421 near Ivanhoe.
Two people were on board at the time of the landing. Both people were taken to the hospital. It’s unclear the extent of their injuries.
The National Transportation Safety Board will investigate why the crash happened.
