Two North Carolina high school girls basketball players have officially made the 2024 McDonald's All-American Game: Zamareya Jones from North Pitt and Sarah Strong from Grace Christian School. The rosters were revealed today. The game will be played on April 2 at the Toyota Center in Houston.

12 players make up the rosters of both the East and West teams. So, North Carolina athletes make up almost 20% of the East team.

Sarah Strong is ranked as the No. 1 overall prospect in the country by ESPN's HoopGurlz recruiting rankings. She is currently undecided in terms of where she will play in college, but she will likely end up at one of women's college basketball blue bloods. The 6-foot-2 forward is currently averaging 20.1 points/game and 16.6 rebounds/game.

Zamareya Jones is the No. 17 prospect nationally in the ESPN recruiting rankings. Jones is committed to NC State University. A 5-foot-7 point guard, Jones is averaging 27.3 points, 6.3 rebounds, 5.3 assists, and 4.1 steals per contest.

10 more players form North Carolina were considered as nominees, but were not chosen. See the full list of nominees here:
