Two charged with heroin trafficking in Halifax County

The Halifax County Sheriff's Office has charged two men with heroin trafficking along Interstate 95.

Kevin Khaaliq Beamon Jr., 23, of Fayetteville, and Akeem Saiquan Williamson, 25, of Greenville, were arrested Friday following a traffic stop.

Both men were being held Sunday at the Halifax County jail under $50,000 bonds. They are due in court Sept. 26.
