Triangle Transit moves transfer center

Triangle Transit opened its Regional Transit Center Monday at 901 Slater Road in the Imperial Center business park.

The center, which serves as the transfer point for Triangle Transit buses, replaces the center at Davis Drive and N.C. Highway 54 that the agency has used for more than a decade.

The new center includes a park-and-ride lot and shares space with Triangle Transit's administrative offices and the GoTriangle Regional Transit Information Center.

Because of the move, new transit schedules went into effect and can be found at Triangle Transit's Web site.
