Tree frog shelters: Museum of Life and Science provides some hideouts

If you see some new pipes during your next visit to the Museum of Life and Science in Durham, look inside. You might see a tree frog!

The pipes, which look like a tree branch, were recently installed as shelters for tree frogs across the 84-acre campus. A Facebook post credits Ranger Greg and the museum's exhibits team for the project.

In the post, Ranger Greg explains that the pipes provide a safe an secure space for the frogs to spend their days until their nightly breeding sessions.

If you go, be sure to check inside the pipe (quietly!) to see if you spy anything.
