Experience a world of excitement beyond ordinary amusement parks at Urban Air, where trampolines, indoor skydiving and flipping bumper cars await. With locations in Raleigh and Morrisville, Urban Air offers several attractions for families to enjoy together, from thrilling adventures to a variety of food and unforgettable bonding moments.

Urban Air located in Raleigh

Erin Ellis, co-owner of Urban Air Raleigh, located at 7810 Poyner Pond Cir., says they came up with the idea for this amusement park three years ago when she went into business with her sister and father.

As they raised their families in Raleigh, Ellis and her sister wanted to create a one-of-a-kind place where other families could connect and make cherished memories.

"My sister and I were raising our kids in the Raleigh area, so we wanted to create something where our families could enjoy it, and other families could come out, have fun and make memories together. It was a unique adventure for us," Ellis said.

Urban Air Raleigh has a variety of attractions, including wall-to-wall trampolines, dodgeball courts, a Ninja Warrior course and the exhilarating sky rider, providing kids with the sensation of free-flying excitement.

"The Sky-rider is definitely our number one attraction," Ellis said. "It's a unique experience where children can feel like they're flying and feel free."

Other favorites at Urban Air include spinning and flipping bumper cars, a high ropes course, climbing walls and virtual reality experiences.

With locations in Raleigh and Morrisville, Urban Air offers diverse attractions for families to enjoy together, from thrilling adventures to delicious food and unforgettable bonding moments.

While big kids jump and soar, little ones can have their own adventures in specially designed-toddler areas and soft play zones.

Kacy Adams, a stay-at-home mother, says she visits Urban Air several times a week. With her children of various ages, she likes the amusement park because it offers them something enjoyable for all of her children.

"For me, as a mother, it's important to take my children to a place where they all can have fun," Adams said. "This place, I can be over here watching my toddler play and be able to keep an eye on my other children while they have fun.

Urban Air offers numerous celebration opportunities, whether it's a birthday party, rewarding good grades or simply a family outing. They provide options for private party rentals and exclusive park rentals for special events.

"So, we have several opportunities for birthday parties. Having great parties where you can also book private party rentals," Ellis said. "We also do private park rentals where you can rent out the park for any events on Sunday mornings before we open."

Ellis says one of the main goals they want to accomplish when people visit is for people to feel the excitement that they were able to share together.

“It's a great bonding experience for families,” Ellis said. “We have attractions for all different ages.”

She says families can come out and celebrate together, enjoy some time away from technology and phones, be active, and promote a healthy environment for them.

Urban Air in Morrisville

Meanwhile, the Morrisville location, owned and operated by Michael Villopoto at 1020 WCC Lane, offers a unique blend of attractions, including an indoor skydiving tunnel—a distinctive feature not found in all Urban Airparks. Additionally, visitors can enjoy a glamour salon, Pamper Princess, offering spa services and princess-themed parties.

"Our Morrisville location has the sky rider, rock climbing walls and flip zone bumper cars, but it's unique with the indoor skydiving tunnel," Villopoto said. "We're the only one in the Triangle with skydiving."

Villopoto, a seasoned industry veteran who brought Xtreme Park Adventures to the Triangle and has managed an Urban Air franchise for two years, adds another unique element to the Morrisville location, Pamper Princess, a glamour salon. This customer-favorite offers multiple spa services including princess-themed parties.

"We offer spa services where they can get manicures, pedicures and fairy hair styles. We do an array of things," Marcie Hudson, owner of Pamper Princess Glamour Salon, said.

Pamper Princess, owned by Hudson was created to provide spa services for small children, making them feel like princesses.

Hudson also says she has more events coming up during the summer.

"This summer, we're launching an exciting camp where kids can unleash their creativity," Hudson said. "Learn the art of sewing, customize their Crocs with dazzling embellishments, and even create their t-shirts using the cricket machine."

The Morrisville location also hosts Urbie fun days that include special deals on food and raffle prizes.

"At the Morrisville location, we call it Urbie fun days where they have half-price pizzas, half burgers, wings, and we raffle off prizes," Vilogo said.

He says the main goal at Urban Air is simply to ensure that the children have the most enjoyable experience possible.

"They run, they play, they jump. We want it to feel like it is a safe environment," Villopoto said.

In addition, he says parents can come to sit down, eat food and relax while enjoying beer or wine.

"They have a cocktail while the kids are playing and enjoying themselves," Villopoto said. "We feel that we have so many attractions that are something for everyone."

Villopoto says he wants children to go home and say, "That was the best!"
