Hurricane Helene is now blamed for the deaths of more than 100 people in North Carolina. Some people are still missing, so the toll could be higher.
The Associated Press reported that at least 230 people are known to have died as a result of the destruction wrought by Hurricane Helene since it made landfall in Florida.
