Here's what's going on at the General Assembly on Tuesday, July 30:

  • House K-12 Education considers legislation that would allow graduation from a North Carolina high school serve as proof of residency for in-state tuition at state colleges. (9:30 a.m., 643 LOB)
  • House Health takes up a bill setting a new payment method for adult care homes where Medicaid recipients live. (10 a.m., 643 LOB)
  • The House has seven bills on its 3:15 p.m. floor calendar, including a ride-share passenger safety measure, revisions to billboard regulations and providing victims of child sex abuse more time to sue their abusers.
  • The Senate is taking the week off and has no committee meetings or floor votes scheduled.
