Ready for a different twist on the usual egg hunt?

The Museum of Life and Science's Dino Egg Hunt runs April 14 to April 16. Best for younger kids, ages 6 and under, the event offers a chance for kids to unearth colorful eggs, dig up some fossils and take part in other dino egg-related activities.

It's scheduled for 9:30 a.m. to 5 .m., April 14 and April 15, and 12:30 p.m. to 5 p.m., April 16. Tickets are $7 per egg hunt and free for their accompanying adult (but adults can't collect eggs for themselves. Let the kids do it, people).

Pre-registration is required. The museum's website has more information.
