The beautiful Carolina Chinese Lantern Festival, which transformed Booth Amphitheatre in Cary into a holiday wonderland, will return this season. Tickets go on sale Monday.

The seven-week event will run Nov. 25 to Jan. 15. The festival will include more than 20 all new displays, each one comprised of hundreds of parts and thousands of LED lights. The giant Chinese Dragon also will return to Symphony Lake. This year, organizers plan to add cultural performances and arts and crafts.

Tickets go on sale at noon, Monday. Tickets are $10 for ages 3 to 17 and $15 for adults. Kids 2 and under are free.

My family had a blast at this event last year. The amphitheater's website has more information.

Don't forget: Pullen Park's Holiday Express tickets are now on sale, too.
