Three North Carolina basketball players make 2024 McDonald's All-American Game

Three senior high school basketball players in North Carolina have officially been named to the 2024 McDonald's All-American Game. The rosters were announced on Tuesday. The game will be played on April 2 at the Toyota Center in Houston.

North Mecklenburg's Isaiah Evans, Northwood's Drake Powell, and Word of God's Jayden Quaintance were named to the East team. Only 12 players make the East or West rosters.

Each player is a consensus 5-star prospect by the major recruiting services.

Isaiah Evans is a Duke commit. Evans is ranked as high as the No. 8 prospect in the country by ESPN and as low as No. 28 by On3.

Drake Powell is a UNC commit. He is ranked as high as the No. 8 prospect by Rivals and as low as the No. 19 prospect by On3.

Jayden Quaintance is a Kentucky commit. Quaintance is ranked as high as the No. 4 prospect nationally by On3 and as low as the No. 14 prospect by ESPN.
