Three arrested in Triangle meth bust

Three men were arrested after what authorities described as the largest controlled delivery of crystal methamphetamine in the Triangle.

Three men were arrested after what authorities described as the largest controlled delivery of crystal methamphetamine in the Triangle.

A joint narcotics investigation by the Durham County Sheriff's Office and the Hillsborough Police Department resulted in the seizure of 885.6 grams of meth on Dec. 8, 2009. Officials said the drugs had an estimated street value of $200,000.

Lewis Rodriguez, Eligio Martinez and Balderno Cardona were arrested in connection with the meth bust. The suspect were being held in the Orange County Jail under separate $502,000 bonds.
