Good food and winter fun are coming up this week.

Monday

Check out the North Carolina Museum of History's new Starring North Carolina! exhibit, which opened last weekend. See costumes and props from movies made in the state, including "Iron Man 3" and "Bull Durham." 

Tuesday

The Tony Award-winning musical Cinderella opens at the DPAC Tuesday night. This modern take on a classic fairy tale continues in Durham through Sunday. Tickets start at $35.

Wednesday

The Got To Be NC Final Fire Competition kicks of Wednesday evening! In tonight's battle, Fire on the Dock Champion Antoine Murray takes on Fire on the Rock Champion Michelle Bailey. At last look, this was the only Final Fire battle with tickets still available.

Urban Ministries' Stone Soup Supper fundraiser is Wednesday. Homemade soup is available for dine-in or to-go, and you can also purchase a one-of-a-kind handmade pottery bowl. New this year is a soup competition between local chefs.

Thursday

Cameron Village gets festive at their Holiday Open House. There will be carolers, horse and carriage rides, visits with Santa and more entertainment. WRAL-TV's Lynda Loveland, Elizabeth Gardner and Monica Laliberte will be there judging a holiday window display competition.
