On Tuesday night's episode of The Voice, votes from viewers revealed who would continue on in the competition and who would be sent home.

The night began with each terrified contestant entering the main stage as they prepared for what could have been their last appearance on the show.

Host Carson Daly revealed who America decided to save and who would be sent home.

He revealed that for the second week in a row, team Adam Levine member Regan strange was the most streamed artist. He said that her fans love her so much that they have affectionately named themselves "strangers". Ultimately, she was saved by voters and will move on in the competition.

During the first segment of the show it was also revealed that the youngest contestant , Kennedy Holmes, was saved. Holmes impressed viewers on Monday with her cover of Whitney Houston's "The Greatest Love Of All" and won the vote. The 13-year-old will be one to beat under the guidance of coach Jennifer Hudson (JHUD).

Next it was revealed that member of team Kelly Clarkson, Kyberlie Joye joined Holmes in the winner's circle.

To break up the monotony and the immense fear of contestant elimination, Coaches Blake Shelton and JHUD preformed with their team members for the first time this season.

Team Blake preformed first and the crew of country singers covered “Dixieland Delight" by the Alabama Band.

And it was clear that, Shelton was delighted when America saved all of his team members. Kirk Jay, Chris Kroeze and Dave Finley all joined the top 10.

Team JHUD preformed second and the girl group sang "The Rose" by Bette Middler. After preforming, it was revealed that member of team JHUD, Mackenzie Thomas was saved in the competition. JHUD was so grateful that her entire team was saved and continuously said thank you to viewers.

To break up the fear of imminent elimination once again, Season 14's winner Kelsea Ballerini preformed her new song entitled "Miss Me More."

Viewers won't have to miss singers Sarah Grace and Chevel Shepherd of team Kelly as they were both added to the top 10.

The last two remaining singers, DeAndre Nico and Lynnea Moorer were forced to battle for the last spot in the top 10. Both were given the opportunity to preform a song of their choosing to fight for their last chance on The Voice stage.

His coach, Levine made it well known that he was displeased with voters for putting Nico in the bottom two. Levine said that it wouldn't be right for someone as talented as Nico to go home.

"I'm really shocked that he's even considered as one of the bottom," Levine said. "Because I think he's one of the top."

But the decision to keep Nico in the competition or not was ultimately left up to Twitter users who were then given the opportunity to save their favorite artist.

DeAndre Nico ultimately won viewers over by singing the gospel song "Take Me To The King" by Tamela Mann. His voice evoked strong emotions that gained the iconic shoe throw of approval from JHUD.

Nico's performance granted him a spot in the top 10.

Tune in at 8 p.m. Monday on WRAL-TV and NBC to see the top 10 preform.
