To schedule a Durham audition on February 12, create an Artist Account online and follow directions to register. Since singers need to print an audition pass mailed to them a week before audition day, it appears that registering before February 12 is a good idea.

Those auditioning must print and bring an Artist Audition Pass and photo ID.

The website has full audition guidelines, but in a nutshell, singers are asked to prepare two songs. They are required to perform one song, and may be asked to perform the second.

Singers must sing a cappella, with no accompaniment, not even their own acoustic guitar. The website makes it clear: "The only thing we want to hear is YOUR VOICE. To be clear, you CANNOT play your guitar at the Open Call Audition."

If anyone auditioning is under 18, one parent or guardian will be allowed at the audition.

Anyone who needs special accommodations due to a disability or other need can contact the casting team prior to your audition.

Auditioners are asked to plan to be at the audition all day, and advised to bring snacks and water, and dress for the weather in the event they need to wait outside.

If you can't make it on Feburary 12, singers can submit a video audition here.
