Fans of the Bull Durham Beer Co. will be able to get their fix anytime when The Bullpen opens Friday at American Tobacco Campus.

Located in a 2,000 square-foot space in the ground floor of the Diamond View III building, The Bullpen will be serving up local craft beer, including rotating selections from Bull Durham Beer Company and other North Carolina breweries.

"We are working on developing relationships with breweries not available here," Bull Durham Beer Company brand manager Brad Farran said, pointing to brands like NoDa and Wicked Weed.

The space will also be essentially a second location for the popular restaurant Heavenly Buffaloes.

"Their approach to wings is the way we approach beer. Do one thing and do it really well," Farran said.

The Bullpen, which is just a stone's throw away from the Durham Bulls Athletic Park, will be open seven days a week, 11 a.m. until midnight.

The space will also feature live music with regular programming provided by the Music Maker Relief Foundation. One dollar from every pint sold at The Bullpen will be donated to support the foundation's work.

Bull Durham Beer Co, the only beer company located at a Minor League Baseball stadium, launched in April 2015. While some area restaurants, including Mateo in Durham, have been serving it, there hasn't been a consistent place for fans to get Bull Durham Beer on tap.

Note: Capitol Broadcasting Company, which owns the Durham Bulls, Bull Durham Beer Company and American Tobacco Campus, also owns WRAL.
