Teacher Appreciation Week 2019 Freebies & Offers May 6-10

Teacher Appreciation Week is being celebrated by many restaurants, grocery stores and retailers during the week of May 6 through May 10. Teachers and administrators can score some super freebies and discounts!

My personal thanks to all the awesome teachers out there (including my brother and sister-in-law)! My daughters have had some truly dedicated and exceptional educators from pre-school through college.

As always, these offers are valid at participating locations and you may want to call ahead to your specific locations to see if they are honoring the promotions. You will also need to bring your school ID to receive the offers.

Bruegger’s Bagels

Bruegger's is offering a free medium coffee with any purchase and valid ID at participating Bruegger’s locations May 6-10. Plus, get $10 off any group order of $75 or more using promo code TENOFF75 at check out from May 6-May 10. Orders can be placed at brueggers.com from May 6-10.

Chick-fil-A

Chick-fil-A locations in the Greater Triangle Area are offering teachers a FREE Chick-n-Minis (4 count) or a FREE Chick-fil-A Chicken Sandwich on Tuesday, May 7! The free Chick-n-Minis offer is valid from open to 10:30 am and the free sandwich offer is valid from 10:30 am to close. One entree per educator. Teacher MUST be present with their own valid school ID in order to receive this offer. Valid at participating locations.

Chipotle

Chipotle will be offering a buy-one-get-one (BOGO) on Teacher Appreciation Day, Tuesday, May 7. Eligible educators and school staff can receive a free burrito, burrito bowl, salad or order of tacos with the purchase of another menu item of equal or greater value. The promotion is valid at all U.S. Chipotle locations from 3 p.m. to close, according to the e-mail we received from Chipotle.

The BOGO offer is valid for educators and staff at all levels, including pre-school, elementary, middle and high school, university and homeschooling parents who present valid identification recognizing them as staff or support. It is available for in-restaurant orders only and is not valid for online, mobile, fax or catering. There is a limit of one free entrée item per eligible customer with the purchase of an entrée item of equal or greater value. The offer should be available to see on their website soon.

Cici's

Cicis is offering teachers a free adult buffet on Tuesday, May 7 in recognition of National Teacher Appreciation Day. A valid school ID and the coupon found HERE are required. Taxes and drinks not included.

McAlister's Deli

Metro Diner

From Monday, May 6 to Friday, May 10, all school members who visit their local Metro Diner will receive 20% off their check anytime during the week. Starting Tuesday, May 7, SONIC Drive-In is offering teachers and everyone who appreciates them a free Route 44® Drink or Slush when they Order Ahead in the SONIC app using promo code TEACHERS with purchase through Friday, May 31.

As part of SONIC’s philanthropic initiative, Limeades for Learning, SONIC is launching a $1 million donation match with nonprofit partner DonorsChoose.org to help public school teachers get the learning materials and resources they need.
