Suspected drunken driver injured in wrong-way I-40 crash

A suspected drunken driver was injured early Friday after driving the wrong way on Interstate 40 East and crashing into two vehicles, according to Raleigh police.

The driver's name was not released, but police said the person's injuries were minor. The other drivers were not hurt.

The crash happened shortly before 1:50 a.m. near Wade Avenue. No other information was released.
