Suspect sought in fatal Durham shooting

Police said Friday that they have a suspect in a fatal Durham shooting last month.

Investigators have obtained an arrest warrant for Eric Humberto Ramirez on a murder charge in the death of Josue Marlin Portillo.

Portillo, 21, was shot inside an apartment in the 1300 block of Hudson Avenue on Sept. 21, and he died two days later of his wounds.

Police haven't released any details about a possible motive for the shooting.

Ramirez, 25, wasn't in custody Friday.
