Suspect Evicted From Home Just Before Bank Robbery

Financial desperation may have led a man to rob a Raleigh bank.

According to police, Daryl Carter robbed the Wachovia Bank on Spring Forest Road on Friday, February 22.

Search warrants obtained by WRAL on Monday show Carter, his wife and two sons were evicted from their Knightdale home an hour before the bank robbery.

Police seized several items from the family's new residency including a pair of black gloves and a receipt from a recently paid energy bill.
