Surveillance photos released in shopping-center homicide

Durham police opened a homicide investigation after finding a man lying on the sidewalk outside a laundromat in a shopping center off North Miami Boulevard Sunday morning.

Police released surveillance photos of two masked men they believe were involved in a homicide in a shopping center off Miami Boulevard Sunday morning.

The photos show the men, who are wearing masks, entering and leaving the Laundry King Laundromat in Wellon's Village Shopping Center, 1000 N. Miami Blvd.

Police have not filed any charges in the death of a Hispanic man in his early 40s, who was found lying on the sidewalk in front of the laundromat around 7:50 a.m. Sunday.

Officers withheld the victim's name, pending notification of family.
