State Fair Taste Test: Unicorn Bacon
Bubba's Bacon is serving up a new take on their classic bacon on a stick at the N.C. State Fair.
Unicorn Bacon is their regular bacon dipped in frosting and then rolled in Fruity Pebbles cereal. The result is a brightly colored and very sweet concoction.
My first bite was filled with frosting and cereal. I could taste a little hint of bacon in the middle, but it was mostly a sweetness overload.
But despite how sweet it was, I kept eating it. That little hint of bacon inside each bite was the perfect foil to the sugar. A warning though: The cereal and pink frosting will get all over your face while you eat it.
Unicorn Bacon is perfect for fans of icing, but if you are craving bacon just order their classic bacon on a stick with maple syrup.
