Some Frigidaire gas dryers recalled after 23 reports of fires

A clothing dryer made by North Carolina-based Electrolux is being recalled because it could catch fire.

5 On Your Side says the recall involves Frigidaire Gas Laundry Centers.

Here are the model and serial numbers of the recalled machines:

Model: FFLG4033QWX, Serial: 4E44114739 through 4E81603034

Model: FFLG4033QTX, Serial: 4E44308482 through 4E81603380

The felt seal in the dryer can fold, causing lint to build up, and that has led to 23 fires. One person was treated for smoke inhalation.

People who have these should stop using the dryer, but the washing machine portion is still safe to use.
