Sir Walter Wally, North Carolina's most beloved prognosticating groundhog, wasn't able to see his shadow on Tuesday, indicating that we're in for an early Spring this season.
The news comes as a relief to some on the East Coast, as a winter storm has left much of the area between Washington, D.C. and New England covered in several inches of snow.
Sir Walter Wally took to Twitter on Tuesday to share the big news.
COVID squashed the usual in-person Groundhog Day events, but Sir Walter Wally was able to make the big prediction virtually.
