Silver Alert issued for Orange County man

The N.C. Center for Missing Persons issued a Silver Alert on Friday for a missing Orange County man.

Joshua McCabe Bailey, 20, is believed to be suffering from dementia or some other cognitive impairment.

Bailey is described as a white man, 5-foot-8 and about 130 pounds. He has short, black hair and blue eyes. He was last seen wearing a black t-shirt, black shorts and black leather shoes.

Bailey was last seen on Weaver Street in Carrboro on July 21, officers said.

Bailey’s direction of travel is unknown. Authorities said it is possible he is traveling in a white 1993 Ford Explorer with North Carolina tag number "XTK-3273."
