Silver Alert issued for Dunn man

The N.C. Center for Missing Persons issued a Silver Alert Thursday evening for Waymon Calhoun Parker, 72.

Parker, who is believed to be suffering from dementia or some other cognitive impairment, went missing from the Magnolia Living Center in Dunn, officials said.

Early Friday, authorities said they found a 1995 silver Dodge Ram, which Parker was believed to be riding in. Parker has not been found.

He is described as a white man, 5-foot-7, 168 pounds with short, gray hair and hazel eyes. He was last seen wearing a brown button-up shirt, dark pants and black leather shoes.
