Clayton police investigating shots fired at home on Kerriann Lane

Shots were fired in a Clayton neighborhood early Saturday morning, hitting a house and cars in the area.

The Clayton Police Department responded to the shooting incident on Kerriann Lane. Police said no one was hit, but a house and a few cars were.

WRAL News was at the scene, where approximately 30 shell casings could be seen grouped together at the intersection of Kerriann Lane and Plymouth Drive.

The incident is currently under investigation.
