Sheriff: 41 bags of suspected heroin found in NC woman's shorts

A woman was arrested in Edgecombe County after deputies found a bag of marijuana in her bra and 41 bags of suspected heroin in her shorts.

Christa Robinson, 29, was charged with four counts of possession with intend to sell or distribute heroin, three counts of selling or delivering heroin and one felony count of maintaining a vehicle/dwelling for the purpose of using, distributing or manufacturing a controlled substance.

She was jailed on a $100,000 secured bond.

According to the Edgecombe County Sheriff's Office, deputies stopped Robinson as she was leaving her home after law enforcement conducted an undercover drug purchase. Deputies said Robinson had an expired registration card and active warrants for the sale and delivery of heroin.

When deputies approached Robinson, they smelled marijuana.

"Eventually, Ms. Robinson retrieved from her bra area a small bag of marijuana. After speaking with Ms. Robinson, she then gave detectives approximately 41 bags of suspected heroin from within her shorts," the sheriff's office wrote on Facebook.
