Sheriff: 1 dead from fiery wrong-way crash on US 64 in Nash County
One person died in a crash along US 64 in which the driver was going the wrong direction in Nash County.
1 dead from wrong-way crash in Spring Hope
One person has died after a wrong way driver crashed into another vehicle overnight in Nash County.
Nash County Sheriff's Office said that a driver going the wrong direction on US 64 crashed into a car head-on at mile marker 446 near Spring Hope.
Photos from the scene showed one of the vehicles on fire. The crash occurred in the westbound lanes.
The office is working to determine which vehicle the person who died was traveling in at the time of the crash. There is no word on charges at this time.
