Shearon Harris to test sirens Wednesday

Triangle residents within a 10-mile radius of the the Shearon Harris nuclear plant may hear sirens Wednesday morning.

Progress Energy's quarterly test of public alert sirens will take place between 10 and 11 a.m. The sirens will sound at full volume for approximately five seconds.
