Seymour Johnson Airman found dead

An Seymour Johnson Air Force Base Airman was found dead Monday at his off-base residence, authorities said Tuesday.

The cause of Senior Airman Ross Merrit Horton's death remains under investigation, authorities said.

Horton, of Chico, Calif., was a lodging customer service representative of the 4th Force Support Squadron.

No other details were released.
