Services Held for Child Killed by Accused Drunk Driver

Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon for a Johnston County boy killed by an accused drunk driver.

Services for 7-year-old Marcus Lassiter were held in Clayton at Johnston Piney Grove Church.

Lassiter was playing in his grandmother's front yard when troopers say a stolen car driven by Hipolito Hernandez hit him.

Investigators said Hernandez was drunk, speeding and driving without a license. He was also in the country illegally.
