Selma man found dead in home

Johnston County authorities are investigating what happened to a Selma man who was found dead inside his home early Friday.

Tammy Amaon, a spokeswoman for the Johnston County Sheriff's Office, identified the man as Linwood Ray Pilkington, 42, of 3368 U.S. Highway 301 North.

He was found around 12:15 a.m., Amaon said. She did not provide any other details.
