Goldsboro police on Friday announced a second arrest linked to the gruesome discovery of a dismembered and decapitated body on Bright Street.

Tamarcus Shaquan Ellis, 31, of Goldsboro, was arrested early Friday in Baltimore. Authorities expected to extradite him to North Carolina to face a murder charge.

The body of the woman investigators say is Heather Stewart was discovered by Bright Street resident on May 24.

While officials wait for the Office of the State Medical Examiner for a final identification, Stewart's family is dealing with the possibility of her violent death.

“I am angry. I am hurt. I am confused. If it is her, it’s going to be hard,” McKenzie Stewart, daughter of Heather Stewart, told WRAL News.

Ellis is the second man charged with murder in connection to the case.

Willie Lee Langston Jr. is being held without bond at Wayne County Detention Center after an arrest earlier this week.
